I don't know how you managed too keep all that detail in the shadows, without blowing the highlights, but it's an amazing photo !

I took this shot at the end of the afternoon so the light was soft enough to manage the contrast between highlights and shadows...

ça ressemble à la montagne la Dent du Loup dans les Alpes.

L'Aiguille du Fruit est une montagne superbe, surtout lorsque elle est vue depuis le sommet de la Saulire, au dessus de Méribel et Courchevel. Lorsque on la voit de profil, elle perd un peu son allure effilée. Je n'ai qu'une envie en regardant les images que j'ai ramené de là bas... Y retourner! ^^

Les paysages montagneux sont vraiment d'une beauté inouïe je trouve ! Ne parlons pas des lumières magnifiques qu'on peut voir !
Etant une habituée des Arcs 1800 je passais ma fin de journée de ski assise sur le transat du balcon pour admirer la vue, le coucher de soleil et les lumières de la vallée qui s'allumaient une a une (quand les nuages le permettaient :)).
Des moments forts émouvants de mon adolescence (maintenant avec le boulot je ne suis allée au ski que cette année et je ne pense que je puisse y retourner avant quelques années :( )

Very good photos. The only thing I'd correct is the sky, which is too dark in my opinion.

Thanks for your comment. I'used a polarizing filter to darken the sky. I think it does improve the aspect "high-mountain" of the shot...

Much better now. I also tend to over-sharpen my photographs, I think this is the most difficult part in post processing.
